On Sunday, May 12, the Leesburg Police Department received a report of a child who was sexually assaulted by a person known to them, local police said.
After conducting an investigation, officers arrested Aroldo Santos Velasquez, who was charged with rape of a child under the age of 13 and object sexual penetration.
He was being held in the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond. Due to the age of the victim, no further information is being provided
